Dixie Retherford
President
Dixie has served as president of Tunista, Inc., at the direction of the Board of Tunista, Inc. since 1998. Additionally she serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the parent company; Calista Corporation. She is a CPA with approximately 23 years of experience in accounting, finance and business. Dixie spent several years in public accounting as an auditor, and the remainder of her professional career in private industry. She has worked in various industries including real estate, construction, service contracts, oil drilling operations, mining, and investments. She has extensive experience in financial analysis and evaluation of projects, cash-flow, insurance and operations oversight on projects. Dixie has also been an integral part of the growth and development of Tunista, Inc. through start-up and ongoing operations. Those operations include the Tunista Pacific Rim branch located in Honolulu, HI, related government projects and expansion of building projects within Alaska. In addition to her service with Tunista, Inc. she also is involved in the community through her social civic duties. She has been on the board for the South Central Alaska Boys and Girls Club for eight years and currently holds a Board Chairman position. Dixie is also a member of the Anchorage Downtown Rotary and is a Board Member elect. |

Carl P. Fouch
Vice President
Carl has been with Tunista, Inc. since 1998 and currently holds the position of Vice President. He also is the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for Tunista, Inc., & Tunista Pacific Rim, dba located in Honolulu, HI. The FSO reviews & approves employee security clearances required for DOD military contracts and facilities located in Alaska & Hawaii. Carl came to Tunista, Inc. after retiring from the Federal Government's General Services Administration (GSA) after thirty-four years of service. During his years with the government Carl was a Real Property/Facility Manager for over 25 years and did business in the Anchorage, Alaska and Pacific Northwest areas.
He managed the Federal Buildings and US Courthouses in Anchorage and several other NW Regions. Carl has extensive experience and professional certifications in commercial and federal facility management, lease acquisition and management, and contracting for services, construction, repairs, maintenance and operations, fire protection and safety, security, & many other related fields. He was a certified and warranted contracting officer and has extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS) under the CFR, Code of Federal Regulation, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
Carl is also experienced in project cost estimating, administrative assets management and budgeting. In addition to his experience in the field Carl was also instrumental in the development and staffing of the Tunista Pacific Rim branch located in Honolulu, HI and certification and approval of the SBA 8(a) program.

Kyle Nakamura
Division Manager
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kyle Nakamura is a graduate of Mid Pacific Institute and the University of Hawaii with a BBA in Marketing. Starting in 1986, Kyle worked for Servco Pacific, Inc. where he started and managed an automotive equipment sales and service operation known as Commercial Motors Equipment. In 1996, he began working for Island Movers, Inc. where he ran several operations, most recently serving as General Manager of their Freight/Trucking Division. During his terms with Servco and Island Movers, Kyle was also the owner / president of Cellular Distributors, Inc. Since 2002, he has been an integral part of Tunista Pacific Rim, starting and managing its contract for the Furniture Management Office at Hickam Air Force base. Currently the Division Manager of Tunista Pacific Rim, Kyle oversees all of Tunista’s Hawaii operations and employees.

Joshua Herren
Director of Business Planning
Calista Corporation
Joshua served in the U.S. Air Force, and completed his assignment and tour of duty in January 2008 at Eglin Air Force Base. Joshua held the rank of non-commissioned officer and completed his college education while serving in the Air Force. He earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration management and his Master of Business Administration through the University of West Florida. He was also inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda and National Scholars honor societies.
While in the Air Force, Joshua served in the civil engineering squadron, under the mission support group. He received numerous performance awards for duties that included budget proposals, financial planning, team leadership, facility development oversight and new Air Force initiative oversight.
Prior to finishing his service commitment in the Air Force, military commanders suggested Joshua attend Officer Training School. However, he decided to end his service after nine years, returning to his home and family in Alaska to pursue his career in the local business community.

Gwen Suenaga
Operations Mangager
Gwen graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BBA in Management. Her experience after graduation was primarily in the travel industry working for Western Airlines and then Delta Air Lines in various capacities such as a reservations agent, ticket agent at the airport and secretary to the Airport Manager. In 1986, her career in the travel industry took her to SatoTravel, a government contractor, working primarily as a branch manager for offices at Hickam Air Force Base and downtown Honolulu. SatoTravel’s contract with the government encompassed booking and ticketing air travel, hotels and cars for government employees on official business. Gwen joined Tunista Pacific Rim in 2005 as the Assistant Contract Manager for the Hickam Air Force Base Furnishings Management Office and is presently the Operations Manager working out of the main office in Honolulu. Her primary responsibilities include implementing new contracts as they are awarded and ensuring compliance of current contracts among the different departments of Tunista Pacific Rim.
